Preston Dickinson was an American painter who set up himself as a craftsman while in Europe from 1910 to 1915. While in Paris, he was influenced by Cezanne and the Fauves. Later in the 1920s, his work assumed the style of Precisionist development. He liked to paint machinery with mathematical and dynamic characteristics.
