Auguste Toulmouche was a French neoclassical painter born in 1829 and passed on 63 years after 1890. He was an understudy of Marc Charles Gabriel Gleyre, who later followed to Paris and is known for his acclaimed Parisian ladies’ pictures. Part of the neoclassical gathering of artists, Toulmouche looked to recover the magnificence of the traditional development instead of structure to the celebrated impressionist time at that point.
