Macke, August, Germany 1887 to 1914 Oil Paintings
August Macke was born in Meschede, Germany. He learned at the School for Arts and Crafts in Dusseldorf. He visited Paris without precedent for 1907, and a few years after the fact, he got to know Franz Marc and Kandinsky. Macke was interested in shading and synthesis and how the two interact. His work is a blend of Impressionism, Fauvism, and Orphism. His paintings were brimming with life and liberated from the anxiety that appeared by different Expressionists. Macke'sMacke's perspectives on parks and city roads shimmer with shrill reds, yellows, and greens within a space defined by firm linear examples.
