Butler,Theodore Earl, American 1861 to 1936 Oil Paintings

Theodore Earl Butler was born in Columbus, Ohio, the USA, in 1861 and passed on to France in 1936. Head servant was an American impressionist painter who learned at Marietta College in Ohio and the Art Students League until 1886. After moving to France, he enlisted at La Grande-Chaumiere, Atelier Colarossi, and at the Julian Academy, which is the place where he concentrated under Carolus Duran. His careful schooling cleared a path for him to display his work at the Paris Salon quickly. In 1892, Butler wedded Monet's number one model and stepdaughter, Suzanne Hoschede 1892.
