Frank William Warwick Topham was born in London, England in 1838 and died in 1924. He was an English genre and portrait painter who worked in oil and watercolour. He studied art at the Royal Academy and in Paris at the Atelier Gleyre. By age 25 he was regularly exhibiting at the Royal academy and was elected as R.I. in 1879. Today he is represented in several public collections.
