Joaquin Pallarese, also known as Joaquin Allustante Pallares was born in 1853 and died in 1935. Pallarese was a Spanish painter who specialized in genre paintings. As a young man he studied fine art at the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Zaragoza, Spain. His professors there included Marco and Antonio Jose Palao. He then moved to Madrid to continue his studies and still later moved to Paris to study as well. In Paris he began working for a well established art dealer named Adolphe Goupil. In 1881, Pallarese moved to Rome and his works were regularly displayed at the National Exhibition of Fine Arts there. At the age of 82 years old, he died in his homeland of Spain.
