Emile Munier was born in Paris and made a profession for himself as a sort and representation painter, specializing mainly in kids’ depiction, particularly in open air settings. He worked with Lucas and Bouguereau from 1869 to 1895. Munier displayed his paintings at the Salon and worked with Emile Galla, both an associate and a companion. Munier’s delightful and nostalgic paintings have consistently been pursued, and his work is as yet mainstream and exceptionally esteemed on the uncommon events on which it turns up at sell-off today.
