Johan Laurentz Jensen was born in Denmark and is frequently alluded to as a Danish blossom painting. At the young age of fourteen, he was selected at the Royal Academy, where he concentrated under Christoffer Wilhelm Eckersberg. His ability pulled in Crown Prince Christian Frederick, later King Christian VIII, granted him a traveling grant. Afterward, Jensen visited Hamburg, Amsterdam, and Paris, before becoming an understudy to Alexandre Brongniart, the overseer of the well-known Sã¨vres porcelain plant and under whom he sharpened his typically refined strategy. His still-life paintings with blossoms typify the extraordinary tastefulness and intelligent eye for detail.
