Preston Dickinson was an American painter who established himself as an artist while in Europe from 1910 to 1915. While in Paris, he was influenced by the work of Cezanne and the Fauves. Later in the 1920's, he work took on the style of the Precisionist movement. He preferred to paint machinery with geometrical and abstract qualities.
