Italian artist Giovanni Paolo Pannini was born in Piacenza After studying perspective with painters from a very flourishing region of Italy at that time (Emilia), he moved to Rome in where he became most famous and requested for decorations in mansions and palaces. His sights of Rome and reproductions of various gorgeous celebrations in Rome are wonderful masterpieces of this period.
