Frederick Morgan was born in England. He was a painter of genre scenes, figures and still lifes and a member of the Society of Painters in Oil Colours. He took an active part in the London expositions from 1865, notably in the Royal Academy. His paintings have been displayed in museums in Leeds, Liverpool, and Sheffield.
