Georges Jeannin was born in Paris, France in 1841. As an impressionist painter, he's known for his beautiful still lifes, mostly containing flowers. In 1868, his work debuted at the Paris Salon. He became the chairman of the Societe de Peintres de Fleurs (Society of Flower Painters). Throughout his life as an artist, he was given many awards for his achievements; among them include: the Chevalier de la Legion d'Honneur in 1903.
